The thing about U2 culture as practiced in 2007 is it is about 12 years behind U2.
I saw them doing the Zoo TV tour in 94, and they all came in with those Huge Heads – caricatures of themselves. They really made a point of satirising their superband status.
Not to downplay their legend or the fact that they are pretty good heros to have if heros you must have.
But I’m bored of that sound. Mother, does this make me a bad person? Am I all alone in my twisted little wilderness?

🙂 I hear what you’re saying. I like U2 but couldn’t live a strict diet of them. Of course, I could almost live on a strict diet of Van Morrison.

Rumor has it that the church still hasn’t found what they are looking for.

U2 isn’t bad, but their songs are all the same.. I prefer the Red hot chili peppers now
